AJ-FL-19 — a 170cm floor lamp with a fabric drum shade around an E27 socket, for living rooms and bedrooms where the bulb choice should stay with the buyer.
A fabric shade does something a bare shade cannot: it turns a bulb into room light. The textile diffuses the source across the whole surface, so the output reaching a sofa or a bed is soft and even rather than a bright point that shows on screens and in the corner of the eye. Combine that with an E27 socket and the buyer keeps control of color temperature, brightness and whether the bulb is dimmable or smart.
1. Fabric turns a bulb into room light
A textile shade spreads the source over its whole surface, so the lamp reads as a soft panel of light rather than a bright dot. That is what makes it work next to a sofa or a bed at night: no glare into the eyes from a low shade, no hard shadow across a book, and no bright reflection on a television screen opposite.
2. 170cm puts the shade above the seated sight line
At 170cm overall height the shade sits clear of a seated reader's eye level, so the light washes the room and the page without shining into anyone's face. Too low and the shade becomes a glare source at eye height; too tall and the light stops reaching the seating area at all. This height is the working middle for armchairs and two-seat sofas.
3. The E27 socket keeps the bulb decision with the buyer
Nothing is sealed in at the factory. Buyers fit warm 2700K for a bedroom, neutral 4000K for a living room, or a smart bulb where that category sells, all within the 40W rating. When a bulb eventually fails the user replaces a bulb, not a floor lamp, and the same SKU serves markets that would otherwise need separate versions.
4. Foot switch, hands free
The switch sits on the cable at floor level, so the lamp is turned on with a foot rather than by reaching behind a sofa or bending to a socket. In a bedroom or a lounge that is the difference between using the lamp every evening and leaving it off because the switch is awkward to reach.
5. 1.8 kg on a 185mm base
Light enough for one person to carry between rooms, with a base sized to the footprint the lamp actually needs rather than to a catalogue photograph. It stands stable on carpet and hard floor without occupying the floor space a heavier column lamp demands.
6. Eight to a carton, 0.092 CBM each
Eight units per carton at 0.092 CBM and 15.5 kg gross gives 2,434 pcs in a 20ft and 5,913 in a 40HQ. Shades and stems pack densely because the format is compact, which keeps per-unit freight low on a product that is bulky by nature but light in weight.
Commercial terms: black and white are standard finishes. Plug type, bulb scope, packaging format and lead time are confirmed per order against destination market and quantity.
Q: Is a bulb included?
A: No. The lamp takes an E27 bulb, supplied separately, so the unit stays compatible with whatever brand and color temperature your market already stocks and avoids paying freight on glass that may not suit the destination. Confirm the packing scope in writing before printing carton text.
Q: What is the maximum wattage?
A: 40W. That is the bulb wattage the socket and wiring are rated for, not an integrated light output. A higher-wattage bulb should not be fitted, and copy should never describe this as a 40W lamp in the sense of consumed power.
Q: What voltage and plug does it use?
A: 230V input with a two round pin plug. This is a European configuration: it will not run on 110V supply in the US, Japan or Taiwan without a different version, and it should never be described as universal voltage.
Q: How tall is it, and how wide is the base?
A: 170cm overall height with a 185mm base diameter, 1.8 kg unit weight. The shade diameter and shade height are not fixed in the current specification and should not be quoted until the factory confirms them.
Q: What is the MOQ and how does it pack?
A: MOQ 1,000 pcs. Eight units per carton at 0.092 CBM and 15.5 kg gross, giving 2,434 pcs per 20ft and 5,913 pcs per 40HQ. Carton dimensions stay the same from sample order to container.
Q: Where does the cable come out, and how long is it?
A: The cable exits from the base and runs 1.5m to a foot switch. Placement therefore depends on socket distance: the lamp needs to sit within reach of a wall outlet, and listings should say so rather than implying it can stand anywhere in a room.
